A Forklift Operator

Job Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Drive sit-down or stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move goods.
- Load and Unload: Move materials safely on and off trucks, trailers, and loading docks.
- Manage Inventory: Scan product barcodes with RF scanners and log movements in the warehouse system.
- Inspect Machines: Complete daily pre-shift safety checks on brakes, forks, and fluid levels.
Maintain Safety: Follow workplace safety rules, wear safety gear, and keep aisles clear of hazards.
- Certification: Valid OSHA-compliant forklift operator license or training certificate.
- Physical Strength: Ability to sit or stand for long hours and lift heavy items when needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus to prevent product damage or workplace accidents.
- Communication: Ability to work well with warehouse teams and follow directions.
