Forklift Driver (Sitdown Forklift)

Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift Operator

Location: Protein Distribution Center

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Overtime: Must be open to overtime and weekend work

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team at a fast-paced protein distribution center. This role is responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to move, load, and unload product while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in a cold storage environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks with protein products
• Move materials throughout the warehouse and storage areas
• Stack, stage, and organize pallets accurately
• Assist with inventory control and product rotation
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (food/protein preferred)
• Must be able to work in cold storage conditions
• Steel toe boots required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Open availability for overtime and weekends

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced protein distribution center
• Cold environment (refrigerated/freezer areas)
• Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, and movement throughout shift

You should be proficient in:

• Food and Beverage Manufacturing
• Warehouse Experience
• Forklift Licensed
• High School / GED
