Forklift Driver

The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit a number of experienced Warehouse Operatives with Forklift Licences, based in Southampton.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

• Working within a warehouse
• Operating a Forklift truck to move pallets of stock
• Loading and unloading containers and trailers
• Picking and packing
• Building and wrapping pallets
• Assisting with all general warehouse duties
• Driving the company van to deliver goods in the Southampton area

Job requirements:

• Valid UK Driving License
• Good numeracy, literary and communication skills
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift license
• Ability to work well in a team as well as independently

This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position. There is a possibility that the company will offer a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period, depending on performance and attendance.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 16:00 and Saturday 0700 to 11:00.

Pay rate is £13.50 per hour, on weekdays and £20.25 per hour on weekends.
