Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Driver and Warehouse Worker, where your energy and expertise will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently! In this vital role, you will operate various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks, to manage inventory, load and unload shipments, and support overall warehouse distribution. Duties
Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
Perform order picking using barcode scanning systems and manual methods to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts, updating warehouse management systems (WMS), and ensuring proper storage of materials.
Support shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation, preparing items for dispatch, and ensuring proper labeling.
Maintain safety standards in production by adhering to OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols during all equipment operation.
Conduct equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous safe operation.
Support warehouse distribution processes through manual handling of heavy materials, load & unload activities, and proper pallet stacking to optimize space utilization.
Requirements
Proven experience operating forklifts (including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo) and other material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and lift trucks.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, shipping & receiving procedures.
Familiarity with warehouse safety standards in production environments (OSHA compliance) and materials handling best practices.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following manual handling protocols; physically capable of long periods of standing or walking.
Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy.
Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred; supervisory experience in warehouse management is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in all aspects of work.
