Job Description
Forklift Operator
Our client who is located on the west side of El Paso, Texas, is currently seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position involves operating forklifts and supporting production operations within an electrical apparatus manufacturing setting while ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated locations
- Assist with production support tasks as needed
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
- Meet productivity and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: Starting at $16.25 per hour
- Shift:3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Overtime:Mandatory overtime required as needed
- Previous forklift operating experience required
- Valid forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good attendance and reliability are essential
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
