Forklift/General Labor
Job Title: Forklift Operator / General Laborer
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator / General Laborer to join our team. This hybrid role includes operating forklifts and performing general labor tasks such as loading/unloading materials, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting warehouse operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, or pallet jack forklifts to move materials and products
Load and unload shipments manually and using equipment
Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately
Perform general labor duties such as cleaning, stacking, sorting, and organizing materials
Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as required
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to a supervisor immediately
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Valid forklift certification/license (if required by local/state regulations)
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of forklift experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Basic math and reading skills
Strong attention to detail and safety
Willingness to perform other warehouse and general labor duties as needed
Work Environment:
Warehouse or industrial setting
May involve working in hot or cold environments, depending on the season
