Where You'll Work

LINK Staffing is hiring Forklift Operators for a respected industrial manufacturing and distribution facility in Dayton, Texas. This role supports the Shipping Department and requires operating large-capacity 24K and 27K sit-down forklifts to move materials safely throughout the facility. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly preferred.

• Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
• Location: Dayton, TX
• Full-Time Opportunity
• Rotating Shift Schedule:
  • Week 1: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Week 2: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• Weekly Pay through LINK Staffing

Responsibilities

• Operate 24K and 27K sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse materials
• Transport products and materials throughout the facility
• Secure loads before transportation
• Pick, stage, and wrap orders for shipment
• Track inventory of incoming and outgoing materials
• Conduct equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Assist with scheduling forklift maintenance and repairs
• Follow production schedules and shipping deadlines
• Identify and report workplace safety hazards
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of sit-down forklift experience
• Experience operating large-capacity forklifts preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid forklift certification preferred
• Flexible schedule and availability to work weekends as needed
• Ability to add, subtract, and multiply accurately
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Good physical condition with the ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to periodically lift heavy objects
• Strong attention to detail and workplace safety
• Reliable transportation
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
