We are currently hiring a 1st Shift Forklift Operator/ Inspector for a client located in Greenville, SC. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by receiving incoming containers, inspecting contents for accuracy and quality, documenting inspection results, and preparing materials for future shipment. This role requires a combination of hands-on inspection work and forklift operation throughout the shift. Responsibilities:
Receive and unload incoming containers in a safe and efficient manner
Inspect contents for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues
Accurately document all inspection results and report findings as needed
Repackage and organize skids for shipment at a later date
Operate a forklift regularly, including frequent mounting and dismounting throughout the shift
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
Previous forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Basic communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay rate: $17.37 per hourHours: 6am to 4:30pm Monday-FridayThis a temporary role, expected to last approximately 40–50 business days. If candidate perform well, they will be considered for other opportunities within the organization after this assignment ends.
