TempExperts is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Forklift & Machine Operator to join a growing light industrial team in Tampa, FL. Position Overview
In this role, you will play a critical part in daily operations by safely transporting materials, operating industrial equipment, and supporting production teams. Success in this position requires attention to detail, strong equipment handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
- Operate forklifts and other machinery in compliance with safety standards
- Inspect materials for damage, shortages, and quality concerns
- Maintain accurate inventory records and activity logs
- Assist with production, equipment operation, and general facility upkeep
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Proven forklift experience with a strong safety record
- Experience with industrial equipment (e.g., conveyors, hydraulics) preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-identification skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Reliable and able to consistently work overnight shifts
