We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This position is responsible for safely moving, staging and supplying materials throughout the facility to keep production running efficiently.
Responsibilities
Move and stage raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
Supply production lines and equipment with necessary materials.
Load, unload, move and organize materials as needed.
Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other material-handling equipment as assigned.
Maintain proper material flow to prevent production delays.
Verify materials and quantities for accuracy.
Organize and maintain designated storage and staging areas.
Assist with inventory and material tracking.
Remove finished products and scrap from production areas.
Follow established safety and quality procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
Communicate material shortages or production needs to the appropriate supervisor.
Perform additional production or warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements
Previous material handling, warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach and perform repetitive movements.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
