    Job Description Summary

    This position's primary responsibility will be to safely diagnose, repair and perform planned preventative maintenance on industrial mobile equipment such as fork lifts, skidsteers, platform lifts, etc. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and service requests including replacement, and modifications of equipment or systems as needed or requested by the client. You will be required to work with the planning department to keep appropriate records in the electronic CMMS program tied to individual work orders. May also be required to assist in millwright job duties in a team environment at a heavy industry work site which operates 24x7. Requires ability to work flexible hours as needed and be available for call-ins as required. Regular work schedule is Monday- Friday, 7 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    • Complies with all Fluor Corporation safety requirements and programs.
    • Represents the company by servicing equipment on client site, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems.
    • Work with the storeroom to maintain critical spare part inventory for repairs and preventative maintenance.
    • Work with the Planning Department to schedule all upcoming repairs and maintenance.
    • Establish and maintain a positive relationship with client customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills.
    • Perform Precision Maintenance with bearings, couplings, gearboxes, seals, bushings, interference fits, torque, pumps, rotating equipment, lubrication, etc.
    • Checks safety and limit controls for proper setting before returning equipment to service.
    • Work with OEM to diagnose issues and ensure proper parts are ordered,
    • Other duties assigned.

    Education & Experience

    • High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
    • Minimum of 4 years' experience working on mobile equipment preferred or a combination of technical schooling and experience.
    • Must have knowledge of Precision Maintenance with bearings, couplings, gearboxes, seals, bushings, shrink fits, torque, pumps, rotating equipment, lubrication, etc.
    • Ability to read and interpret building layouts, system drawings and manufacturers' equipment specifications.
    • Knowledge of standard and specialized maintenance practices.

    Working Conditions: Work in extreme heat or cold; Work where noise level is above 85 decibels; Work in wet/humid environment; Work in cramped quarters; Work in environment of fluctuating ventilation; Work inside and outside"
