Forklift Mechanic

We are seeking several Forklift Technicians to perform onsite repairs at our customers facilities across Ocean County, New Jersey, USA. Technicians will service various lift trucks from manufacturers such as Yale, Taylor, Linde, Cat and Mitsubishi.

• Make sure parts are ordered and repairs made in timely in a fashion
  
• Listen and respond to customer complaint
  
• Respond to service call on location and accurately diagnose and repair customer equipment
  
• Maintenance and repair of equipment may include:
  
• Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system components
  
• Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance 
  
• Perform scheduled maintenance and service
  
• Inspect and test engines to diagnose and isolate faults
  
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor
  
• Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
  
• Repair and rebuild industrial lift truck equipment
  
• Clean, test, and fill industrial batteries
  
• ​Maintain all documents, including timesheets, completed repair orders and warranty repairs.
  

Requirements

• Should have 3-5 years’ experience repairing and servicing industrial lift trucks.
  
• Possess a working knowledge of computers and computer software. 
  
• Must abide by all company health and safety policies. 
  
• Maintain all documentation regarding repairs and maintain parts inventory.
  
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
  
• Should be self-motivated and comfortable working independently. 
  
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  
• Must have you own set of tools. The successful Technician will submit to a pre-employment background check. 
  

Day shift 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday

• $22 - $32/hr, this pay rang may vary based on your experience and certification. 
  
  
• Technician will be provided with a company cell phone, computer and a fully equipped service vehicle.
