Position Summary

The forklift operator is responsible for putting away, dropping down, and rotating full pallets of stock through the warehouse inventory reserve racks using a stand-up or sit-down forklift.

What youll do

Maneuver Stand-Up High Reach or Sit-Down Forklift to put away or let down pallets into warehouse racks up to 46 feet high. Pickssorts and replenishes product from upper racks to front pick bins. Unloads product from trailers using forklift trucks and powered riding pallet jacks. Manually moves product from receiving dock to proper storage location. Monitors and enforces safe product handling procedures. Replenishes product from upper storage rack to lower pick bins within cooler. Monitors product quality as product is being moved. Breaks down pallets on receiving dock. Maintains cleanliness, sweep mop, restack pallets of receiving docks and pick bin area. Cleans and charges forklift at the end of shift. Record daily actions by use of RF Scan Gun.

About you

High school diploma or general education degree GED 2 years of forklift experience Team player who works productively with all levels of the organization. Ability to pass a forklift operating exam. Warehousedistribution facility experience preferred.
