Position Summary: The forklift operator is responsible for putting away, dropping down, and rotating full pallets of stock through the warehouse inventory reserve racks using a stand-up or sit-down forklift. This position will require the individual to work in all different type of conditions( temps of 0 degrees to 80 degrees).

What you'll do:

• Maneuver Stand-Up or High Reach forklift to put away or let down pallets into warehouse racks up to 46 feet high.
• Picks/sorts and replenishes product from upper racks to front pick bins.
• Unloads product from trailers using forklift trucks and powered riding pallet jacks.
• Manually moves product from receiving dock to proper storage location.
• Monitors and enforces safe product handling procedures.
• Replenishes product from upper storage rack to lower pick bins within cooler.
• Monitors product quality as product is being moved.
• Breaks down pallets on receiving dock.
• Maintains cleanliness (sweep, mop, restack pallets) of receiving docks and pick bin area.
• Cleans and charges forklift at the end of shift.
• Record daily actions by use of RF Scan Gun

About you:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Team player who works productively with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to pass a forklift operating exam.
• Warehouse/distribution facility experience preferred.

Lo que harás:

• Maniobrar montacargas de pie, de gran alcance o sentado para guardar o bajar palés en los estantes del almacén de hasta 46 pies de altura.
• Recoge/clasifica y repone el producto de los estantes superiores a los contenedores de recogida delanteros.
• Descarga el producto de los remolques utilizando carretillas elevadoras y transpaletas eléctricas.
• Mueve manualmente el producto desde el muelle de recepción hasta la ubicación de almacenamiento adecuada.
• Supervisa y hace cumplir los procedimientos de manipulación segura del producto.
• Repone el producto desde el estante de almacenamiento superior a los contenedores de recogida inferiores dentro del enfriador.
• Supervisa la calidad del producto a medida que se mueve el producto.
• Desmonta los palés en el muelle de recepción.
• Mantiene la limpieza (barrer, trapear, volver a apilar los palés) de los muelles de recepción y el área de los contenedores de recogida.
• Limpia y carga la carretilla elevadora al final del turno.
• Registra las acciones diarias mediante el uso de la pistola de escaneo RF

Acerca de usted:

• Diploma de escuela secundaria o título de educación general (GED)
• Más de 2 años de experiencia con montacargas.
• Trabajador de equipo que trabaja de manera productiva con todos los niveles de la organización.
• Capacidad para aprobar un examen de operación de montacargas.
• Se prefiere experiencia en instalaciones de distribución o almacén.
