Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator with experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts. This role plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations, including material handling, inventory movement, and maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and move product throughout the warehouse
- Perform inventory control and assist with stock organization (FIFO)
- Stage materials for shipping and receiving
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report any issues
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
- PPE required: closed toed shoes and safety goggles
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Experience with inventory, shipping/receiving, or material handling preferred
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift weight up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $20.00 per hour
- Application Window: Open until filled
Work Schedule
- 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Overtime and some Saturdays available
