Job Title: Forklift Operator (Sit-Down / Counterbalance)
Location: Morganton, NC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for safely operating sit-down, counterbalance, and split fork forklifts powered by liquid propane (LP) to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and has a strong background in material handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down, counterbalance, and split fork (LP) forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials from trucks and move product throughout the warehouse
- Stage, stack, and organize inventory in designated areas
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of forklift operating experience required
- Experience with sit-down, counterbalance, and split fork equipment (LP preferred)
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting with frequent forklift operation
- Ability to lift, move, and stand for extended periods
