Schedule: SundayThursday, 5:00 AM-1:30PM or Friday-Monday 5PM-4AM
Shift: Overnight
Pay: $18.50-19.00/hourly
Location: Sacramento, CA- Near the Airport
One month assignment
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused
Forklift Operator to support daily operations within our Distribution Center and Logistics Center. The Forklift Operator will safely move pallets and materials throughout the facility, support production needs, and load and unload customer trailers.
Forklift Operators may also be responsible for
power-sorting pallets by hand as part of their daily duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move pallets and materials throughout the facility.
- Operate forklift controls, including levers and pedals, to safely maneuver loads.
- Position forks, lifting platforms, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets.
- Transport materials to designated locations.
- Load, unload, and stack materials using the forklift.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous forklift experience is a must.
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
- Basic math, reading, language, and computer skills.
- Ability to work overtime when required. Overtime may be mandatory.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules or shifts as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
