Position Summary seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and production operations. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility while maintaining accurate inventory control and adhering to all company safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
Transport raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods throughout the facility.
Supply production lines with required materials and remove completed products.
Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Accurately scan, track, and document inventory movements.
Organize warehouse storage areas and maintain proper product placement.
Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Support other warehouse and production activities as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment.
Ability to safely operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or clamp forklifts.
Ability to read and understand work instructions and shipping documents.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred
Forklift certification or ability to become certified through company training.
Experience with inventory systems, scanners, or warehouse management software.
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the shift.
Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
Ability to safely operate equipment for extended periods.
