Job Summary
As a Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials, goods, and equipment. Your primary responsibilities will involve operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport items within our distribution center.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move and transport materials, products, and equipment
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts or similar material handling equipment
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work efficiently during the 2nd shift
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
Working Conditions
The work environment is a fast-paced warehouse setting, and the role may involve lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.
