Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Forklift Operator with previous manufacturing experience for a great opportunity in Salem, Ohio! You’ll work at a busy on-site facility, ensuring timely and high-quality output while following all safety standards. Hours
Monday to Thursday, 1:30 PM – 12:00 AM (2nd Shift)

Pay
$17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate forklifts and other processing equipment
  • Move and organize materials within the warehouse
  • Support picking, packing, and shipping operations
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures
  • Assist in inventory control and documentation
  • Inspect materials for quality and accuracy before shipping
  • Support production goals to meet deadlines

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous manufacturing and forklift experience required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math
  • Full mobility and physical ability to perform job duties
  • Steel-toed boots required

Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience working with double action presses
  • Knowledge of warehouse management and RF scanning

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Previous experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic understanding of ISO standards and documentation

Other Requirements
  • Valid forklift operator certification preferred
  • Must be able to work on-site and adhere to all safety protocols
