Forklift Operator
A local manufacturing company is seeking a dependable forklift operator to join their team! This position is critical for ensuring smooth warehouse and production operations.
Responsibilities:- Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the facility
- Load and unload trucks, verify shipments, and document materials
- Supply production lines with necessary materials
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure proper labeling of materials
- Follow all safety protocols and participate in daily safety checks
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues
- Support other warehouse and production tasks as needed
Requirements:- Proven 1+ year forklift operating experience
- Certification a plus, but not required at time of hire
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Great attendance history and punctuality
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must not have an allergy to latex
