**Forklift Operator - Seafood Manufacturing** Our client in the **Seafood Manufacturing Industry** is seeking a **Forklift Operator** to join their team in Anacortes, WA. This role is part of the **Shipping Department** and supports operations across all departments. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on forklift experience, strong warehouse knowledge, and a commitment to safety and teamwork. **Location:** Anacortes, WA **Pay Range:** $DOE but $20-$24+ph We currently have 2 departments we are hiring for: + **Dry Goods Department:** Monday-Friday/Saturdays during peak season, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM + **Cold Storage Department:** Monday-Friday/Saturdays during peak seasons, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM **What's the Job?** + Safely **operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks** (including sit-down, stand-up, and clamp trucks as applicable) to load, unload, transport, and stack products such as crates, pallets, and raw materials. + Move product efficiently throughout **dry goods and cold storage environments** . + Perform **daily pre-shift inspections** and basic maintenance checks on forklift equipment. + Follow **OSHA and company safety standards** at all times. + Accurately support **shipping and receiving operations** , including staging, inventory movement, and order preparation. + Maintain a **clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment** . + Work independently or as part of a team in **tight or confined warehouse spaces** . **What's Needed?** + **Resume that reflects Forklift experience and job details** + **Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience** in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment. + Experience with **shipping and receiving procedures** . + Familiarity with **warehouse operations** , inventory handling, and material movement. + Ability to safely operate forklifts in **small or congested spaces** . + Strong attention to safety and detail. + Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. + Ability to work effectively **independently and on a team** . + Forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified). **What's in It for Me?** + **Fulltime stable hours** + **Room for growth** + **Stable schedule and opportunity to work with a respected employer in the seafood manufacturing industry** If this role interests you and you'd like to learn more, **click Apply Now** and **Sandra** will be in touch to discuss this opportunity.
