FORKLIFT OPERATOR / ORDER PICKER - SPANAWAY, WA (TEMP-TO-PERM)
Express Lumper Solutions is hiring forklift operators and order pickers for a fixed Monday to Friday schedule at a client site in Spanaway, WA. This is not a floating or on-call role - it is a set weekly schedule at one location.
This is a temp-to-perm position. You start on assignment through Express Lumper Solutions, with the potential to move onto the client's payroll directly based on performance, attendance and the client's needs.
We are seeking an experienced and versatile Warehouse Associate who can support multiple areas of warehouse operations. The successful candidate must be comfortable operating high-reach and counterbalance forklifts, completing order-picking assignments, handling products manually, and assisting wherever operational support is required.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable switching between equipment operation and general warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate high-reach and counterbalance forklifts.
- Pick and prepare customer orders accurately.
- Load, unload, move, and stage warehouse products.
- Put away incoming inventory in designated locations.
- Replenish picking locations as required.
- Verify product quantities, item numbers, and order details.
- Use RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems when required.
- Perform manual material handling and general warehouse duties.
- Regularly lift and move products weighing up to 50–60 lbs.
- Assist with pallet building, wrapping, labeling, and staging.
- Inspect equipment before use and report safety or maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all warehouse procedures, safety requirements, and supervisor instructions.
- Support different departments and operational tasks based on daily requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is required.
- Proven experience operating high-reach and counterbalance forklifts.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Previous order-picking and inventory-handling experience.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50–60 lbs.
- Comfortable performing both forklift and manual warehouse work.
- Strong attention to accuracy and product handling.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain regular attendance.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and willing to assist with different warehouse responsibilities.
- Must meet all applicable legal and safety requirements for operating powered warehouse equipment.

Compensation:
The rate is confirmed before you start, and the schedule is set Monday to Friday. If you move onto the client's payroll, your pay and benefits are set directly by the client at that point.
