Join our dynamic team in Avon, NY, 14414, as a Forklift Operator! We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to safety and efficiency. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by ensuring the smooth handling and movement of materials throughout the facility. Hours: Nights 7pm to 7am. 12 hour shifts.

2-2-3 schedule. 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
• Transport materials to designated areas within the facility.
• Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification is required.
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
