Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. Candidates with a background in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or heavy equipment operation are encouraged to apply. A strong understanding of OSHA standards and mechanical knowledge is preferred to promote a safe working environment.

• 2nd shift
• Monday - Friday and Saturdays if needed
• Schedule: 2:00 pm -10:30 pm Plus overtime
• Pay rate: $21.00 an hour
• Must have experience with Stand up reach forklift, Sit-down Forklift, Rider EPJ and Sit down forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jacks, reach forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to load and unload materials.
• Assist with order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate inventory control.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
• Support shipping & receiving activities by organizing products for shipment or storage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to OSHA safety standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily operational goals.
• Perform routine inspections on equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist in materials handling tasks such as stacking, sorting, and moving inventory within the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse distribution or shipping & receiving preferred.
• Valid certification or experience operating pallet jacks, Stand up- Reach forklift, sit down forklif, and cherry picker,
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
• Experience with RF scanners for order picking is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Prior warehouse supervisor or construction experience is advantageous but not required.
