Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise, ensuring the efficient handling of products and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, or pallets
Move materials to and from storage areas, machines, or loading docks
Perform daily equipment checks to ensure forklift is in good working condition
Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies
Follow company safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed (packing, organizing, labeling)
Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
Requirements:
Proven experience as a forklift operator
Valid forklift certification/license (if required by state or company)
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and commitment to safety
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
