Forklift Operator

Location: Baytown, TX
Pay:$18.00-$20 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM; must be comfortable working overtime and weekends

Openwork, formerly Meador Staffing, has partnered with a local logistics company to bring 3 Forklift Operators to their team!

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the warehouse
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and order-picking processes
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production goals
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy machinery
• Perform additional warehouse and material-handling duties as needed

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat, and grab
• Ability to walk and sit for extended periods
• Must be comfortable performing physical warehouse duties throughout the workday

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of forklift experience
• Must be able to successfully pass a forklift test
• Reach truck experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be comfortable working overtime and weekends
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures
