Forklift Operator

Location: Bucyrus, OH
Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience
Shift: 1st Shift

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator / Logistics Associate to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This position combines forklift operation with logistics coordination, computer work, and shipping documentation. The ideal candidate has prior forklift experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to use computer systems to coordinate shipments and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely to move, load, unload, and stage materials as needed.
• Coordinate and schedule incoming and outgoing trucks to support efficient shipping and receiving operations.
• Assist with daily logistics activities and communicate with drivers, carriers, and internal team members.
• Prepare and generate packing lists and other shipping documentation.
• Enter shipment information and maintain accurate records using computer systems.
• Verify shipment details to ensure orders and documentation are accurate.
• Help organize inventory and maintain an orderly, safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and established warehouse practices.
• Perform additional warehouse and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Experience with shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to enter and retrieve information accurately.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with drivers and team members.
• Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
