Safely utilize a large forklift to off-load car haulers, load cars into and out of Dismantle bays, stage and park cars out in parts pull yard, additional duties as assigned.
Essential Job Duties
- Safely operate a large 14' fork forklift to move cars and trucks throughout the facility.
- Pick, pack, check, and load products accurately on/off trailers and to and from designated areas of the facility.
- Move parts and other materials around the facility using pallets and crates.
- Stack loads in correct storage bays, following inventory-control instructions.
- Place parts into inventory Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines. Assume other duties as assigned.
- Safely stage and park cars and trucks utilizing methods trained.
- Maintain good housekeeling throughout the facilities and yard.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Not responsible for supervising employees.
Compensation Pay $17.00 - $19.00hr DOE

Education & Experience
Preferred Requirements
- Prior forklift experience.
- Prior automotive experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic messages communicated orally. May write brief messages and keep simple records.
- Problems encountered are simple, repetitive and generally solved by clear directions or procedures.
- Follows standard procedures with no decision-making involved.
- Uses guidance/guidelines provided by supervisor/manager.
- Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.
- Must be organized, write clearly/legibly, and be communicative.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods.
- The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE). May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
- The employee must often lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. On occasion, an employee may be asked to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
