Forklift Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing and distributing company is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Shipping and Receiving department. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse and forklift experience and willingness to work in fast paced environment. 

Job Title: FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Location: CARY, NC

Pay Range: $20/HR - $21.50/HR

Schedule: 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM (2ON/2OFF/3ON)

What’s the Job?

• Load materials into trucks, install strapping & padding to prevent product damage
• Transport materials/pallets using a forklift or electric pallet jack from one department to another
• Assist with staging, banding skids, moving items & cleaning scrap as needed.
• Using the computer & MIS system to properly enter inventory records.

What’s Needed?

• 2+ years of sit-down/stand up forklift and electric pallet jack experience.
• Minimum of 6 months working in a distribution environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft or warehouse information systems
• Ability to lift at least 60lbs throughout shift.
