Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, and relocate products within our facility. Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to transport materials and products safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from trucks and containers.
• Inspect forklifts and other equipment for safety and maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock organization.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management.

Work is performed primarily outdoors and will involve exposure to varying weather conditions

You should be proficient in:

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Material Handler Experience
• Heavy Material Handling
• Forklift Licensed
• Meets Physical Requirements
• High School / GED
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
