Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Flower Mound

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Pay:$19.00/hour

**Now Hiring – Forklift Operator **

We are seeking an experienced **Forklift Operator ** to join our team. This position is responsible for safely moving raw, floor-loaded corrugated materials and sheets from inventory to the production line while supporting the production team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift and follow all company forklift safety rules and policies.
• Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report any issues to a supervisor.
• Organize and safely stack raw materials and finished goods.
• Move corrugated sheets/materials from inventory to the production line.
• Read job tickets and locate materials needed for each order.
• Cut straps and prepare units for the robotic feeder.
• Load the production line with the correct sheets for each order.
• Ensure loads are squared, neat, and properly positioned.
• Perform visual inspections of finished goods and report non-conforming products.
• Keep strapping, scrap, and trash clear from conveyor lines and work areas.
• Assist the operator and first pressman with production activities.
• Assist with machine jams, end-of-shift cleanup, and other production needs.
• Restack raw materials, re-glue boxes, and perform preventative cleaning as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Forklift driving experience is required.
• Previous corrugated industry experience is preferred.
• Experience moving floor-loaded materials is a plus.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and follow job tickets and written instructions.
• Must successfully complete the company's forklift certification program.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 9th-grade education required; high school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
