Pay Rate: $19.00/hr.

Shift: 1st Shift

Description: General Labor Services is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in King George, VA:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and organizing precast concrete products throughout the yard. This position plays a key role in ensuring products are handled safely and prepared for shipment.

Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport precast concrete products.
Stage materials and finished products for production and shipping.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Assist with general yard duties as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:
Previous forklift operating experience required.
Ability to safely handle large, heavy concrete products.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Dependable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

These positions are based in our yard and require employees to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who are comfortable working in the elements and performing physically demanding work, including standing, walking, climbing on and off equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
