Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in production setting by efficiently and safely handling materials using forklifts. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role involves operating equipment to load, unload, and transport goods while maintaining strict safety standards. The position requires working independently during day shifts to support smooth inventory movement and warehouse functionality.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
• Must move lumber materials through the productions site and lumber yard
• Handle inventory accurately to support warehouse operations
• Inspect equipment regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Comply with all safety guidelines and protocols
• Assist in material transportation and placement in designated areas

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in warehouse operations

• Proficient in forklift operation
• Experience working in a lumber yard or similar production setting
• Experience with loading and unloading lumber of cargo trucks
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices
