Start your new career as a Warehouse Forklift Operator with MAU at John Deere in Grovetown, GA. As the Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.

What We Offer

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma
  • Must be flexible to work 3rd shift
  • Recent experience as a forklift operator
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to bend, lift, stand, twist, and walk 2.5+ miles each shift
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable doing some material handler duties, such as walking raw material to production lines or using a tug truck
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks as needed
  • Ability to stand for the entirety of an 8-hour shift (with one 15 min break, one 30 min break, one 10 min break) or a 10-hour shift (with two 15 min breaks and one 30 min break)
  • Availability to work overtime if needed

What You'll Do as a Warehouse Forklift Operator

  • Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Transport raw materials to production workstations
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
