Requirements

• At least two years of recent forklift operating experience in a high-efficiency environment
• Ability to stand and/or operate a forklift for virtually the entire shift
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Knowledge of OSHA forklift safety standards and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to stack and organize products neatly and securely

Job Duties

• Operate a forklift to move products and materials
• Pick and prepare orders accurately
• Palletize products and cases for storage or shipment
• Load and unload products, cases, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves
• Manually move products when required
• Load products into vehicles
• Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage during transit
• Secure lifting attachments to materials
• Transport loads safely to designated locations
• Signal hoisting operators when assistance is required
• Stack products into bundles and band bundles together
• Arrange products neatly and securely on pallets
• Follow OSHA standards and all established forklift safety procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What You Will Do

As a Forklift Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility.

The Forklift Operator supports successful warehouse operations through skilled forklift operation, dependable inventory movement, and safe material handling practices. This role requires attention to detail, good judgment, and commitment to workplace safety.

Successful Forklift Operator candidates understand warehouse procedures, equipment operation, inventory systems, and material handling while maintaining efficient workflows and safe working conditions.
