The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in operating a sit-down forklift, hold a valid forklift certification, and have the ability to communicate effectively in English.Key Responsibilities:* Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and move products within the warehouse and shipping areas.* Perform inventory management tasks, including counting and scanning materials as they are moved throughout the warehouse.* Ensure goods are properly stored in designated locations, ensuring they are secure and organized.* Inspect the forklift daily to ensure it is in good working condition; report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.* Assist in the preparation of shipments, ensuring that all products are ready and in good condition for export.* Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving of goods.* Follow all safety protocols and warehouse guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.Qualifications:* Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting.* Must hold a valid forklift certification.* Ability to lift heavy items, sometimes up to 50 pounds or more.* Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Basic knowledge of safety regulations and warehouse operations.* Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.Preferred Skills:* Experience in the import/export industry.* Knowledge of inventory management software and scanning systems.Benefits:* Competitive pay.* Health, dental, and vision insurance.* 401K plan* Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.How to Apply:Interested candidates should apply in person Monday - Thursday 9am or 2pm, (562) 533-6441.
