Forklift operators are responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities.

SHIFT DETAILS: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

PAY: $17 PER HOUR

LOCATION: Brooklyn, NY

JOB DESCRIPTION:We are looking for an experienced Certified Forklift Operator to join our team! As a Forklift Operator, you will be operating heavy machinery while ensuring efficiency and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Loading and unloading materials and inventory
Identifying damages
Reporting shortages
Reporting quality deficiencies
Transporting raw materials to production work stations
Inspecting machinery and determining the need for repairs
Keeping updated records of inventory
Producing activity logs
Comply with company policies and guidelines
Assist in keeping a safe environment
Must be forklift certified
Must be able lift 50 lbs
Pick and Pack
Shrink wrap
Labeling
PumpJack
Electric Palletjack

QUALIFICATIONS:

1 year of experience as forklift operator or similar role
Attention to detail
Good knowledge of industrial equipment
Very good physical condition
Excellent coordination
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
