Forklift Operator

Location:

1800 Reynolds Ave, Kansas City, Missouri 64120 United States of America

night shift, forklift, reach truck driver position, 3-11:30 pm

Perform restocking of primary locations throughout the warehouse. Forklift experience is recommended. Will also assist with packing, processing and loading of Bulk shipments.

Required Skills/Attributes:

Forklift Certified

Basic Computer Skills

Proficiency with common math such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing;

Warehouse Worker Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate an 8000-pound forklift or reach truck and cherry picker

• Load and unload storage containers onto and off truck beds for delivery to and from storage facility

• Ensure timely delivery

• Ensure warehouse storage facility is clean, dry, and secure

Warehouse Worker Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Adhere to all local state and federal vehicular regulations while driving

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
