Forklift Operator

Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse team. This position will support general warehouse operations, including material handling, order picking, and safely operating multiple types of warehouse equipment.

The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to efficiently operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $19/hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM for approximately the first 3 weeks
• Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Dress Code & PPE

• No joggers or basketball shorts
• Steel-toe shoes required

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load, unload, move, and organize products and materials.
• Assist with general warehouse operations and material handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
• Inspect equipment before use and report any safety concerns or issues.
• Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and safety throughout the shift.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, or rider pallet jacks preferred.
• Must be comfortable learning and operating multiple types of warehouse equipment.
• Must be safety-conscious and follow all warehouse procedures.
• Must have reliable attendance and be dependable.
• Must be able to complete approximately 3 weeks of training on the 8:00 AM–5:00 PM shift before transitioning to the regular 3:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule.
