What does a Forklift Operator do at Swire Coca-Cola?The forklift operator moves products or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered industrial equipment and/or vehicles with an extremely high focus on safety and the safety of others. Work is conducted in a very fast-paced environment where productivity expectations are high.

Responsibilities:

Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to relocate products or materials within a warehouse facility. Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area to meet requirements. Efficiently load and unload palletized and/or non-palletized products / materials in or out of designated trailers and/or route trucks to meet scheduled delivery time. Ensure that products / materials are stacked, stored, and secured in compliance with regulatory/company policies and proceduresEnsure proper dunnage is loaded on transport trailers to secure the load to prevent materials from tipping, falling, etcPerform daily inspection and minor maintenance (as needed) on equipment to ensure safe operation of equipmentEnsure proper rotation of productMaintain a clean, safe work environmentPerform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of ageForklift certified or a willingness to be trained and become certified within 1 monthDriving record must meet Swire's vehicle policyWork weekends and holidays as directed by the businessLift 50 pounds
