Forklift Operator – Cold Environment Production Facility
Location: Linden, NJ
Shift: Day Shift | 5:00 AM Start


Important — Cold Environment Notice This position operates in a refrigerated production environment ranging from 34–38°F, with freezer areas that drop below freezing. Candidates must be comfortable working in cold conditions for extended periods and are required to bring their own appropriate cold weather gear including thermals, layers, and gloves.


What You'll Be Doing

• Operating Raymond Deep Reach trucks as the primary equipment — this is the most critical skill for this role
• Operating counterbalance and stand-up forklifts as needed
• Moving product and materials throughout the production floor safely and efficiently
• Following all GMP, food safety, and warehouse safety protocols
• Participating in an in-house skills verification and training refresher upon start

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on forklift experience — deep reach truck experience is strongly preferred and highly coveted
• Experience with counterbalance and/or stand-up forklifts
• Prior experience in a cold storage, refrigerated warehouse, or food manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Ability to work in cold temperatures for the duration of the shift
• Safety-conscious with a strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a 5:00 AM start time
• Forklift certification card preferred but not required — all operators will undergo an on-site skills verification

• Ability to work in cold environments (34–38°F and below freezing in freezer areas) for extended periods
• Must provide own cold weather gear — thermals, layers, insulated gloves
• Must be able to stand, walk, and operate equipment for the duration of the shift
