Job Description


Amcor Flexibles - Mankato, Minnesota facility located at 2111 3rd Avenue has an opening in our Logistics department for a Forklift Operator supporting the converting facility. You will lead a team by assisting in the day-to-day operational efforts to ensure the core focus areas of receiving, warehouse and shipping are conducted in a productive and cost-effective manner. Excellent attendance and good communication are essential.


Hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm , occasional Saturday mornings from 7:30 am to 10 am.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


+ Under the supervision of Logistics Management, assist in the day-to-day operational efforts of receiving, warehousing, and shipping.

+ Maintain a safe work environment, through inspection and/or observation of the warehouse and all equipment used during daily activities, including but not limited to: forklifts, dock areas, product, lighting, fire extinguishers, emergency exits, aisle ways, mirrors at intersections, etc.), and all other equipment and warehouse areas.

+ Use Logistics Reports to identify and resolve operational issues. Report all inconsistencies or problems to Management.

+ Be an active participant in forklift operator team meetings to keep coworkers informed on logistics department shift workflow.

+ Performs inventory control activities, verify product fit on loads, verifies accuracy of pick/pack and staged orders, performs warehouse consolidation efforts, and performs warehouse walk through reporting all discrepancies to Management.

+ Must be proficient in or able to develop proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, Amcor, Inc. programs, and other software programs that become available to Logistics Department.

+ Be willing and capable of working an 8- or 12-hour shift schedule.

+ Fulfill other duties assigned by management.


Candidate must have experience in:


+ Forklift driving

+ Shipping/Receiving


Hours are Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 3:30 pm with occasional overtime.


$19.94 starting wage, with a top out pay of $28.98
