Description:
Purpose:
The Operator for is responsible for performing essential tasks associated with the handling, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse environment. This role involves operating various types of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to efficiently move products in and out of inventory. The Operator will ensure accurate order fulfillment, preparation of shipments, and proper organization of the warehouse space. This position requires adherence to safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe working environment. The Operator will collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines while maintaining inventory accuracy. By executing these tasks effectively, the Operator plays a vital role in supporting overall warehouse operations and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

You will be responsible for:
Independently execute distribution processes according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and current training curriculum, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards.
Organize and prioritize workload autonomously to meet scheduled deadlines for outgoing shipments and inventory management.
Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on operational efficiency and best practices.
Identify potential issues during the execution of distribution tasks and propose effective solutions to management.
Conduct receipt inspections of incoming shipments, including thorough checks for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Unload trucks and arrange for the proper storage of supplies, ensuring accurate stock management and inventory control.
Sort, condition, and label products according to established procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Perform picking and packing of orders, ensuring accuracy in fulfilling requests and adhering to cost center guidelines.
Maintain accurate warehouse documentation in accordance with SOPs and Work Instructions (WI).
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of inventory by conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling as appropriate.
Proactively maintain a clean and organized work environment, promptly addressing safety hazards and promoting operational safety.
Uphold safety regulations in the distribution environment by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe handling procedures.
Collaborate with team members to support the on-time delivery of orders (with follow-on receipt) and inventory accuracy.
Stay informed about company policies, procedures, and best practices related to distribution operations.
Participate in training programs to develop new skills and stay current with changes in distribution processes and technologies.
Assist in the preparation for audits and participate in quality reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Assist in creating and writing standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Perform weigh and dispense and sampling operations using aseptic techniques per procedures to support cross functional operations.
Actively seek out cross-training and development opportunities across storage, shipping, inventory management, weigh & dispensing, sampling, and logistics functions to support cross functional operations.

Qualifications / Requirements:
0-2 Years Biotech/Pharmaceutical experience or equivalent industry experience
Knowledge of distribution processes and inventory management, including familiarity with receiving, storage, and shipping procedures.
Familiarity with SAP is a plus;previous experience in compliant distribution environments is highly valued.
