Forklift Operator / Material Handler, 2nd Shift

Hickory, NC | Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

$19.00/hr base + $2.00/hr shift differential = $21.00/hr

Sign-On Bonus, Up to $1,500
$500 after 60 days, $1,000 after 120 days.

What You'll Do

• Supply the production lines with raw materials, including resins and packaging
• Move finished goods, materials, equipment, and scrap throughout the plant
• Handload bag trailers as needed
• Manage inventory using scan guns and perform cycle counts
• Operate a forklift with box clamps safely in areas with foot traffic
• Work with operators, packers, and leads across every line and shift
• Learn additional equipment and responsibilities through our training progression

What You Bring

• Forklift or tow motor experience. Comfort with box clamp attachments is a plus, and we'll train you on them
• A safety mindset, especially around pedestrians while operating equipment
• Schedule flexibility. Our material handlers cover for each other across all three shifts, so overtime and 12 hour days come with the job when someone is out or the schedule demands it
• Comfortable working in a plant that is not climate controlled, including handloading trailers in summer heat and winter cold
• Strong time management. You'll be judging what each line needs next and staying ahead of it
• Attention to detail on counts, labels, and locations
• A good personality. You'll deal with everyone in this building, and that's most of the job
• Basic math and computer skills. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
