Forklift Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including:
  • Order Pickers
  • Stand-Up Reach Trucks
  • Stand-Up Forklifts
  • Pallet Jacks
• Pick, stage, load, and unload products weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.
• Organize, track, and maintain warehouse inventory.
• Report damaged, missing, returned, or obsolete materials.
• Perform routine inventory counts and assist with general warehouse upkeep.
• Support end-of-day operations, including warehouse closing procedures and documentation.
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating Order Pickers, Stand-Up Reach Trucks, and Stand-Up Forklifts is required.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs consistently throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Steel-toe footwear is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Capable of working independently while maintaining productivity and safety standards.
• Demonstrates professionalism, ethical conduct, and adherence to company policies.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and occasional climbing or crawling.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures and moderate noise levels.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
