    Description

    The Forklift Operator provides support to the operations and supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping and receiving sandboxes and other products. This position will be responsible for operating forklift, optimizing loading for efficient logistics and supporting other facility functions to ensure optimal operation of the business

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Two years'' experience operating forklifts or similar equipment preferred. One year of onsite oilfield experience preferred. Forklift certification is preferred.
    • Good commination skills.
    • Detail oriented.
    • Honest and hardworking.
    • Work independently.
    • Customer service skills.
    • Safety Requirements: PEC Safeland Training and Forklift certified.
    • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age to be considered for this position.
    • Must have valid Driver License.
    • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products/boxes and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.
    • Operate a forklift and/or a front loader at the wellsite to safely load and unload loaded or empty Boxes on and off each chassis for drivers.
    • Pull and prepare loads for shipment ensuring the exact specifications.
    • Lock the box on the chassis to ensure safe travel to its destination as well as unlocking the box to ensure safe unloading at the wellsite with a loaded or empty box.
    • Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
    • Walk trucks/drivers in and out of the wellsite to ensure safe travel speeds are adhered to per customer's guidelines.
    • Direct trucks/drivers into the loading/unloading area to ensure safe positioning of the truck for loading/unloading purposes.
    • Identify safety hazards in the workplace. Comply with all OSHA and other essential safety standards.
    • Report quality and load variances.
