Description: General Labor Services is seeking Industrial Forklift Operators for our client in the Milford, VA area:
Responsibilities:
Operate sit-down and/or rough-terrain forklifts to move lumber and materials throughout the facility. Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently. Stage, stack, and organize in designated yard and warehouse areas. Perform routine forklift inspections and report mechanical issues. Follow all OSHA, company safety, and environmental guidelines. Assist with general yard and production tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
Previous forklift experience in an industrial, lumber, or manufacturing environment preferred. Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong attention to safety and detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
