Forklift Operator - STAND UP ONLY!!

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Pay Rate:

$20.50 p/hr with a $2 increase after being hired on - 1st shift

$22.50 p/hr with a $2 increase after being hired on - 3rd shift

Shift Openings:

1st Shift- 7am - 330pm; Monday - Friday

3rd Shift- 6pm - 230 am; Monday - Friday OR 6pm - 430am; Tuesday - Friday

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced High Reach Forklift Drivers to join a fast-paced warehouse and distribution operation. This role is responsible for safely operating material handling equipment to move products, materials, and inventory throughout the facility while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.

Candidates must have recent stand-up forklift experience and be comfortable working in a freezer environment for the duration of their shift.

Essential Responsibilities-

Operate stand-up forklifts, high reach trucks, pallet jacks, and walkie riders.

Perform case picking, bulk picking, and put-away functions.

Retrieve palletized products from elevated rack locations for outbound shipments.

Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.

Use RF scanners to track inventory, product counts, weights, and locations.

Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy goals.

Complete daily forklift inspections and maintenance checklists.

Monitor battery levels, maintain batteries, and properly charge equipment.

Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements-

Minimum 2 years of stand-up forklift experience.

Must have operated a stand-up forklift within the last 3 years.

Experience with high reach equipment preferred.

Ability to work in a freezer environment (-10°F) for 8–10 hour shifts.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the entire shift.

Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.

Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Must wear composite-toe mid-top or high-top safety boots.
