Duration: Four months possible temp to hire position.
Summary:
- The associate will be responsible for alerting customers to pick up incoming packages, shipping outgoing packages, while providing excellent customer services.
- A candidate with exceptional customer service skills, some computer skills(typing, sending emails etc. and fork truck experience.
- There will be extensive standing, walking, lifting. Equipment use includes pallet jack and possible fork truck.
- Dress Code: Warehouse attire, no holes in jeans and no graphic (offensive language) t-shirts COVID Requirements: None Driving: No driving
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Previous forklift certification for Reach, Dock stocker or Sit down forklift.
- RF scanner experience.
- Must have excellent math, reading comprehension skills and the ability to write legibly Minimum of two years warehouse experience with one year of stand-up (Reach, Dock stocker) forklift experience.
- Must be physically able to perform assigned tasks that will require significant, walking, standing, bending, reaching and safely lifting up to 50lbs for extended periods of time. Team lift for items over 50lbs.
- Must have the ability to take direction and complete all work assignments as instructed within established timelines.
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work and interact with fellow co-workers. High degree of attention to detail and environment to prevent injury to others and property damage; Promoting a safe work environment.
- Ability to multi-task.
